Every Team Needs a Trained Gatekeeper
You don't need everyone certified — you need enough trained eyes that no struggling person goes unnoticed. Most organizations certify 10–20% of staff, prioritizing the roles people naturally turn to.
Certification Training FAQ
Do attendees receive a certificate?
Yes. Every attendee who completes the training receives a certificate of completion, and your HR or safety team receives a roster for internal records and compliance documentation.
Is this the same as QPR or ASIST certification?
Frank's gatekeeper training covers the same core skills — question, persuade, refer — in a format built for workplace culture. If your organization specifically requires a QPR Institute or LivingWorks ASIST credential, Frank can advise on how his training complements those programs.
How long does certification training take?
The core gatekeeper course runs 2 to 3 hours. Half-day and full-day formats add scenario practice, postvention planning, and train-the-champion modules for internal wellness leads.
Who in our organization should get certified?
Managers, HR, safety officers, peer-support volunteers, and anyone whose role puts them in regular contact with the workforce. Many organizations aim to certify 10–20% of staff so every team has a trained gatekeeper.
Can training be delivered virtually?
Yes. Live virtual and hybrid deliveries are available with the same interactive practice and certificates. In-person remains the most impactful for scenario work.
